Mona Tiesler

Mona Tiesler is a Venture Partner at Edge Capital, where she is building Edge Ventures, the firm’s dedicated venture capital arm. A seasoned investor with several years of experience in Web3 venture capital, Mona has successfully managed early- and later-stage investments across Europe, the USA, the UAE, and Asia.

From leadership roles in VC funds to founding Open Alpha, a forward-thinking syndicate, she has established herself as a strategic investor who combines sharp market insight with hands-on operational support. Her approach centers on transparency, collaboration, and empowerment, fostering environments where innovation and risk-taking thrive.

With a background in strategy consulting, venture building, and entrepreneurship, Mona has co-founded and led ventures in Fintech, Edtech, Foodtech, and Web3. She actively mentors at Hub71 Abu Dhabi and Harvard Blockchain, and is part of the Oxford University Entrepreneurship Expert Network. Mona holds an MBA from INSEAD.
