Mitchell Demeter is a crypto pioneer and capital markets leader, best known for launching the world’s first Bitcoin ATM and building one of Canada’s earliest regulated crypto trading platforms. He has led multiple ventures at the intersection of digital assets and public markets, including serving as President of Netcoins and the formation of SonicStrategy, a publicly traded digital asset treasury company focused on Sonic. Over his career, Mitchell has served on the boards of several public companies, advised multiple blockchain projects, and worked closely with large institutional investors. Now as CEO of Sonic Labs, a next-generation layer-1 blockchain, he is focused on scaling adoption, forging global ecosystem partnerships, and positioning Sonic as an institutional-grade platform.
