Charles Jansen
Managing Director, Head of DeFi Transformation, S&P Global
Charles Jansen leads Digital Assets, DeFi, Crypto Finance and Blockchain across S&P Global. In his role Charles integrates the technical expertise as well as the digital assets and crypto ecosystem knowledge to guide the development of new products and services.

Charles is leading all investments and franchise creation for S&P Global in his field. His team serves as a center of excellence for all other S&P Global divisions.

Charles has been active in the blockchain field since 2013.

He joined S&P Global Market Intelligence in 2012 in Argentina. In his previous role, Head of Cognitive Automation, he pioneered Data Science and Machine Learning at S&P Global and helped to automate five departments.

Charles lived and worked in France, Brazil, French Guyana, Argentina and China. He moved to the USA in 2023.
