Aaron Schnarch
Founder and Executive Director, Compound Foundation
Aaron Schnarch is the Founder and Executive Director of the Compound Foundation. Prior to the Compound Foundation, Aaron was Anchorage Digital’s first company-wide COO and was instrumental in securing ETF mandates, scaling the trading platform and launching the Global Dollar Network stablecoin network. Before that, Aaron served as CEO of Coinbase Custody and VP of Product Management at Coinbase (Nasdaq: COIN) where he oversaw Coinbase’s custody, staking, and web3 innovation for institutional clients, including building the foundational infrastructure to support BTC ETFs.
Prior to that, Aaron has held senior roles in the Capital Markets business of Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR). At Broadridge, he was a member of the steering committee for digital assets and tokenization since 2015. He was also responsible for the acquisition and integration of ITIVITI, a $2.5B Order and Execution Management Solution, and led efforts to build a front-to-back SaaS platform for its global clients. Prior to Broadridge, Aaron led global innovation for SunGard (acquired by FIS) and worked at the Financial Services practice of the Boston Consulting Group in the New York office.
Aaron earned a JD from Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Honors Program, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a former concert pianist who performed on main stages internationally, and an avid triathlete and marathoner.
